There has been a rush of break-ins in the Greater Toronto Area and many computers have been stolen. Apart from the cost of replacing the hardware and the loss of productivity, many of the organizations and businesses hit by this crime-wave are learning how valuable making regular backup of computer data really is. Unfortunately, some of them are learning the hard way!
How about you? Have you backed-up your data today? Is your recovery plan current and tested?
Make sure that you back up your hard-drive on a regular basis and that your backups are stored in a safe and secure place away from your equipment. Don't forget to test your backup files to make sure you can recover your files if you have to.
